Justice for Ruel Hill:Father of 4 tragically shot and killed

On January 31st, 2025, my uncle, Ruel Saint-Mark Hill, was tragically taken from us in the most unimaginable way. While returning his sons home after an evening spent together, just as they normally did, Uncle Ruel was shot and killed in front of his kids. He was just an innocent man, a father, telling his sons goodbye for the night, when a neighbor claimed he thought it was “a bad person” sitting in the car. Without any suspicion or making any inquiries, he shot and murdered my uncle in cold blood.

Uncle Ruel was a man of warmth and kindness, known for his deep love for his family, especially his children. He was a dedicated father, one who gave his all to ensure that his children—Adia (20), Oasis (18), Ethline (16), and Uriel (14)—knew that they were always loved and cared for. His commitment to his family was evident in the way he spent time with them, guiding them through life’s ups and downs, always with patience and wisdom. His presence was a beacon of safety and support, and his passing leaves a void that will never be filled.

In honor of Ruel’s legacy, we have created this fundraiser to provide support for his children during this incredibly difficult time. These funds will help cover immediate needs, funeral costs, and assist the family as they navigate the aftermath of the tragic death of their father.
