Justice For Skyler - Vet Bill Assistance

On April 6th, my uncle Todd was returning home from a trip to the store when a man approached him with a gun in efforts to rob him. Todd’s dog, Skyler, immediately took action to protect his owner and scare off the robber. Unfortunately, he got shot multiple times while doing so. He was shot in the face and leg, and grazed at the shoulder. Todd was shot at as well, but the bullet only grazed his back. Shots were fired in the house and windows as well, where Todd’s roommates were. The shooter ran off quickly and the police are looking for him. Meanwhile, my uncle Todd is left with a very large vet bill for Skyler’s care that he cannot afford to pay. He has tried every Care Credit/credit card option and was denied. We are looking to the community for help. Skyler’s treatment will cost about $3,000 - this is largely due to the fact that he will need surgery on his shattered foot (one of the places where he was shot). Unfortunately, the surgery can not be done until a $900 down payment is given. Skyler was just trying to protect his daddy. He’s an old dog, but still very brave and strong. He has a heart of gold, is so loving, and so loyal. He truly is one of the best dogs out there. He is my uncle’s child and absolute best friend, his world, his everything.
