JUSTICE FOR STARON
Donazione protetta
On Thursday, February 22, 2024, our youngest sibling and only brother Phill “Staron” Cayenne was murdered in his Brooklyn apartment at 159 Bay 29 Street Brooklyn, NY 10009. You may have seen it on the Local News. Visit to learn more. https://www.nydailynews.com/2024/02/23/nypd-probes-death-of-brooklyn-man-found-sitting-up-with-bruises-on-neck/
He was a mild-mannered 38-year-old who had a zest for life, Rap and Soca music, his work, family, and friends.
Staron as he was called by all, was born on the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago and migrated with his siblings to New York when he was 11. There he called Jamaica, Queens home for a while until he moved to Brooklyn at age 18.
In this borough is where he found his American identity and became a responsible hard-working adult.
On the day of Feb. 22, 2024, Staron was seen leaving his apartment and returning, only to leave again after he was pronounced dead hours later. At first homicide detectives told my family, that it seemed foul play might be the cause of death, as there were signs of bruising and wounds to his body and face.
We were told his initial autopsy was ruled inconclusive.
My sisters Chemere, Andrea and I need to know what happened in that Brooklyn home to our beloved baby brother and uncle to three nieces. The worst part is trying to make sense of it all.
We are inconsolable and we need answers. The most we can do for him now is to find the truth.
Please HELP US to request an INDEPENDENT AUTOPSY be done for our beloved brother Staron! Any amount you can contribute will make a difference - even $10.
