Justice for Trumaine White: Help Nikiya
Donation protected
On October 4, 2024, Trumaine White, an African American father and truck driver, visited a local tire shop in Liberty, Mississippi, for a tire change. After paying and leaving a tip, he went to a nearby diner for lunch. However, the tire shop owner contacted law enforcement, alleging Mr. White had poured an unidentified white substance on the grass, later confirmed to be a paper towel. Despite this clarification, Mr. White was arrested and subjected to a physical altercation. His family was notified by witnesses, and upon arrival, his mother was informed of his fears for his safety and well-being, to which he exclaimed, 'Mom, they're going to kill me!' Unfortunately, that prediction came to pass. Mr. White is survived by his 16-year-old daughter, Nikiya Thompson, who now faces life without her father's protection and provision. This fund aims to support Nikiya's needs, cover legal expenses, and raise awareness about this tragic incident.
