Justice for Vincent, forever 6 years old.

Vincent Hill, forever 6 years old.

Vincent was truly the sweetest, most innocent boy. He’s always so happy and laughing, just very fun and goofy. Vincent’s nonverbal autistic, he attends school at Clearfork Elementary where he receives occupational and speech therapy where he has completely come out of his little shell! He has truly blossomed into his fun little personality. Being a nonverbal autistic child came with its challenges, but Vincent truly loved life. Around 6 am on August 14th, Vincent woke up extra early and got his bouncy balls and decided to go play in the backyard on the trampoline just taking full advantage of the last day of summer break. We believe that his ball rolled out and he went after it into the street. Someone hit Vincent with their vehicle, and just left him there bleeding out in the street. They left him out in the street to die, alone and scared. Vincent was found with his favorite blanket with him, and the ball off to the side of the yard. My only son, Vincent, is now forever 6 years old. Vincent’s sister, Violet (7), is beyond devastated and in complete shock.

I never imagined that we’d have to plan my child’s funeral, but unfortunately it’s something we have to do now. Please pray for my family, pray the police are able to find the person who left my sweet boy alone in the street.

Thank you so much to the police who are doing everything possible to find the person who done this and the paramedics who responded quickly, thank you to the hospital staff who did everything they could to try to save my son. Of course thank you as well for the compassion the community has shown us during this horrific tragedy.

EDIT: I can not express my gratitude enough for the community of people who have come together to show us so much love and support! My family is truly grateful beyond words, we can feel the community grieving alongside with us. Thank you so much to each and every one of you who have made the effort to take some weight off of our shoulders, we know we’re not alone! Please continue to pray for my boy, and for the detectives working desperately to find every person involved in this tragedy. ❤️
