JUSTICE FOR ZACK FREELING

On October 18, 2021, our beloved Zackary Ian Freeling was murdered in the entry hall of his home in Washington, D.C. He was 26 years old. He was shot at close range. The bullet pierced vital organs and killed him. He was

the last surviving member of his immediate family.

 

He was loved by his extended family and abundant friends. Many

were from Georgetown Day School and fraternity brothers and friends

from Vanderbilt University. It was impossible not to love him.

He had a kind heart.

 

Zack was a beautiful person who tried to help so many people. He was

brave, playful, creative, loving, sweet, bright, generous, and warm. Zack

befriended everyone with an open and loving heart. He only saw the good

in people and never judged anyone.

 

We know who took Zack's young life, but the police require more evidence. 
We are fundraising for a reward and for the team of private investigators to ensure that this predator who murdered him in cold blood is brought to justice.

 

Washington D.C. detectives are doing their best to bring justice to Zack's

lost life, but they are also overwhelmed with investigating many homicides

in the District of Columbia.

 

Consequently, justice is moving slowly. Though they are "on it." the police

welcome support from the private investigators to move this homicide more

quickly into the light of the law. We need your help to see that Zack gets

the justice he deserves. Neither his family nor friends will "rest easy" as

Zack would say -- until the monster who did this can no longer threaten,

harm, rob, or kill another person. Please help us get justice for Zack.

 

We are collecting money for a substantial $50,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the murderer, and we have already hired and begun working with a team of highly regarded private investigators, but we need more funds.  We will spare no expense in our efforts, and we expect the investigation costs to exceed $30,000.

 

We will put all proceeds from this fundraiser towards seeking justice for our boy.  Any remaining funds will be donated to causes that Zack believed in.

 

Your help is deeply appreciated by all who love Zack and want his murderer to be put behind bars so he will never be able to take another innocent life

and cause so much suffering.

We never dreamt that we would have to do something like this for the

sweet little boy with his father's warm big brown eyes and the biggest,

and brightest, most welcoming smile.

 

As an infant, we called Zack Baby Buddha because he was so placid and

good-natured.

 

Our family members once reveled in thoughts of joy as we imagined his

future and the children he would one day bring into this world.

It still feels inconceivable that he is gone.
