Justice Jennings Legacy Fund

I have lost my best friend. My brother Justice touched many lives, which has never been more apparent than now. He put so much of himself and his love into each and every relationship in his short yet amazing life. Growing up, he was an over overachiever and an amazing athlete. A bright student, loved by his peers & coaches. No one could ever convince me that my brother would end up fighting addiction. As a teenager, Justice started battling mental health & addiction. With support from our parents, he sought treatment in Huntington Beach, CA. He successfully completed the 10 month program and decided to continue to live in the placed he loved. Soon after, he met the love of his life, Johanna and started a little family with their dog, Ollie. This was the happiest we’d had seen him since his early teens. In the past, he had always self medicated to cope with his depression & anxiety. This time he was happy, so he questioned whether he would not abuse them under these circumstances. Tragically, he made choices that would change our lives forever. I’d like us to honor him by raising money in lieu of flowers to be use towards some of the many causes Justice supported (youth sports, baseball, mental health & addiction). Much like the honoring of his body through organ donation, we would like to honor his legacy through donation to help change the lives of others. We feel blessed knowing that his heart continues to beat and I’d like to know that he continues to impact others in a positive way.

We’d like to thank you to all of you who have supported us during this time. The outpouring of support has left us speechless. It has been so comforting to see how much Justice meant to so many people.  It is my goal to spread his generosity and love of life forever. All of the money raised will be used by Justice’s family to honor Justice’s legacy in the future. Details of the events and possible scholarships to be announced soon. Please bear with us as we grieve the loss of my brother and allow us to heal by keeping his spirit alive and make this world a better place in his name.

Justice, you were truly one of kind. I am proud to call you my brother. You will forever be my best friend, but I will do everything in our power to honor & celebrate you every day for the rest of my life.
