Justice & Joy: Jake and Tandy's Farewell Gift

Rev. Tandy Scheffler and Rev. Jake Morrill have enjoyed ministry with Oak Ridge UU Church for a long time! Now, on June 30, Jake and Tandy will step down. As they go, they want to bless ORUUC. The mission of ORUUC is "cultivating a community of justice and joy." In that spirit, Jake and Tandy want to raise enough money to fund justice and joy. For justice, they're raising money for comprehensive sexuality education for youth. What if youth growing up in Oak Ridge learned about respect, consent, empowered choices, and caring relationships? Imagine the lives they would lead! Help fund "Our Whole Lives" training for kids in the church and the wider community. What about "Joy?" Tandy and Jake want to leave ORUUC a tall, fun, beautiful swing, for anybody to use! Justice and Joy: investing in safe and healthy relationships and investing in fun! Help make it happen!
