As all of you may know by now that Ngaire [pronounced: nah.ree] was murdered Monday morning 12/18/2023, and her body was found hours later around 8:35am at Oakland Madrona park. She didnʻt deserve this. She was such a blessing to everyone who knew her. She’s an amazing mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, in-law and most of all FRIEND.
She was such a proud MOTHER. She loved her husband and babies with all her heart . Ngaire will be leaving behind 7 beautiful babies who didn’t deserve this either. Their Mother is no longer here with them. She won’t be here to capture the sweet moments of their growth as they grow a year older every birthday or milestones in general. Ngaire’s favorite thing to do is make collages of all of her babies from birth to present. Ngaire had 4 girls 3 boys. Their names are Eternity Ellennoa A’asa, Faatasiga Mumaina Tusi III, Maevalei Maggievay Tusi, Togamau Ta’ilele Tusi, Salea’aumuaulua’itumua Jodyci Tusi, Ace Fafagumaiaituomanu’a Tusi, So’onafai Silauleleioamoa Tusi.
Her youngest baby girl So’onafai won’t have any personal memories with her mommy, but I’m sure our Tusi family will have that taken care of. My sister’s husband Fa’atasiga Jr. Tusi and family have been the village my nieces and nephews have been fortunate to have been blessed into, because they are doing an incredible job and their love goes unnoticed. To my A’asa and Sheppard family, I pray we find ways to make memories often as life is short and can be lonely at times, and wouldn’t it be amazing to always have each other in times of need to not only be present, but to just be happy and alive together.
To all of Ngaire’s amazing friends, y’all are amazing fr. Ngaire is most definitely blessed to have each and everyone of you guys. I wish I had friends like y’all. Ngaire’s immediate and extended family love y’all too! You guys are the true definition of friendship and your abundance of grace, loyalty, respect and love goes unnoticed!
To my brother Jr. Tusi and my nieces and nephews, I’m so sorry from the bottom of my heart with how I had this whole thing poorly written at first as this is my first time doing this and my thoughts are not well put together as it is now, forgive me. I love you, my nieces and nephews with all my heart. You already know if you need me, you know how to reach me. Please keep my sister’s memory alive and well in her kids hearts and minds forever and always please. As we will all help you do brother.
To my parents Tailele Fafagu & Maeva A’asa. I see and hear your cries and see your pain. We are forever broken and this is most definitely eating away at us - it’s painful and definitely not going to be easy. My poor sister, why you have to leave Mom and Dad like this? I know it’s not your fault cause you would never leave our parents, your kids and the rest of us who love you deeply. This was the devil’s plan and most definitely NOT God’s plan for your life Ngaire, and we will forever mourn your absence til the day we leave this earth. Our family chain is broken without you baby sis, but as God calls us home one by one - our family chain will link again. We are temporarily separated by flesh, but never by spirit my dear sister. Mom and Dad are broken Ngaire. We all are! I can’t wait to see your beautiful face and smile again sister. I sure do miss you Our lives will never be the same without you baby sister. NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Ngaire was a loyal mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, auntie, cousin, niece, in-law and friend. She will FOREVER be missed and FOREVER mourned. We all love and miss you dearly with all our heart, mind, body and soul. Rest easy my dear sister, until we meet again at the gates of heaven. You didn’t deserve this and JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED & those cowards will pay for what they did to you. The thought of what you were going through during your last moments of life is unbearable to imagine
May peace be with you now.
Rest easy my sweet sister.
Our hearts ache for you.

GRIEF QUOTES:
"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."
"The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief - But the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with the pain of never risking love." Hillary Stanton Zunin
"Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose."
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
"There is no grief like the grief that does not speak."
"Grief can't be shared. Everyone carries it alone; their own burden in their own way." Anne Morrow Lindbergh
"The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living." Marcus Tullius Cicero
"When someone you love dies, and you're not expecting it, you don't lose them all at once; you lose them in pieces over a long time - the way the mail stops coming, and their scent fades from the pillows and even from the clothes in their closet and drawers. Gradually, you accumulate the parts of them that are gone. Just when the day comes - when there's a particular missing part that overwhelms you with the feeling that theyre gone, forever - there comes another day, and another specifically missing part."
