Veronica Lee Baker, 17, passed away on August 15, 2020. Veronica was shot and killed at the Bojangles on Jones Sausage Road in Raleigh, NC by an unknown person.
Anyone that knew Veronica knew that she was a sweet, bright young woman that touched the lives of many around her. A graduate of Garner Magnet High Class of 2020, Veronica was planning to attend Wake Tech this fall to study business. Veronica was very close to her family, and shared a love of the great outdoors with them, making frequent camping trips together.
As the family seeks #JusticeforVeronica, we are looking to gather funds to help her parents, Jim and Laura Baker, cover the expenses related to the funeral arrangements for our sweet Veronica.
Still, more questions than answers remain as the family morns the loss of their beloved Veronica.
