#justiceforxzavier legal campaign
Donation protected
On Saturday, January 9, 2021 at approximately 4:35am, Xzavier Hill, a Black Charlottesville resident, was murdered by two Virginia State police officers in Goochland County, VA. He was only 18 years old.
Please join us, Xzavier’s family and community members, in our fight for justice by donating financially for legal assistance.
We will not rest until justice is served.
The Goochland County Commonwealth’s Attorney, Michael Caudill (A former Virginia State Police officer) convened a grand jury, which did not find the officers who murdered Xzavier at fault for their actions. Along with organizations such as Virginia NAACP, we are calling on Attorney General Glenn Youngkin to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Xzavier’s murder.
A Richmond Judge recently granted LaToya Benton permission to submit questions to be answered by the officers responsible for killing Xzavier.
A judge has also granted LaToya Benton Xzavier’s mother to move forward pro se and represent Xzavier in the wrongful death lawsuit against the Virginia state troopers who killed Xzavier.
Please take the following immediate actions to support the family
