Yasmin Choudhury continues to face a criminal trial in Bangladesh where she is accused of trumped up charges of defaming her British Muslim family. She has faced death and rape threats online ever since July 2022, when she reported a male relative, a Bangladeshi Muslim man who tried to rape her and sexually assault her at the age of 49.
Yasmin and her adult daughter have faced death and rape threats, dragged through false criminal trials concocted by her community - eg stealing two cows, stealing paint cans. Yasmin and her daughter were even accosted by gangsters and she even had a cigarette thrown in her face. Her attackers even dragged her innocent daughter through a false criminal trial destroying her University career. This is the price British Muslim women confronting criminals in their own Muslim family have to pay if they speak up.
You will even find an anonymous website online about Yasmin accusing her of being a liar. But anyone reading the police report written by a Bangladeshi officer ,will see he did not even interview Yasmin nor her witnesses. Her Bangladeshi foreign lawyers have been fighting to prevent her going to prison out there- as they think once there, her community will try and kill her from inside the prison.
Hence this fundraiser was set up by some of her customers and supporters, after she got stranded out there, on and off. As they heard of the horror and tragedy tof this British businesswoman's fashion business was destroyed. Simply because she reported an attempt to rape her during a foreign business trip. Yasmin is now back in the UK. I She and her daughter still continue to suffer. We would prefer people to support her business. As she told us her dad always told her not to take. donations. That is why this fundraiser was not promoted and eventually became dormant. A reminder every penny in this fund will go to the Business. Not to Yasmin personally. My name is Yasmin A. Choudhury (Happy).
I, a mother and British businesswoman urgently need help.
I am due to face a criminal trial in Bangladesh. Starting
Wednesday 6 March 2024. Filed by my family relative and arch enemy of my late father - his own nephew and son in law.
I could go to jail. Or be murdered as this is a ploy to try and kill me. And every one in my blood family - blood mother, sisters and brother and his wife support him.
I am being punished with this false criminal trial - after I reported an elderly married male cousin who sexually assaulted and tried to rape me in 2019. To Bangladeshi Police.
And because a judge in a criminal court in Bangladesh has ordered a police investigation into the suspicious death of my late father in 2004. Twenty years ago.
I believe my beloved father AMC (Al Haj Abdul Muquith Choudhury) was murdered. By my own family.
I also have been revealing how my own biological family refused me justice. Have allowed men such as my brother in law and cousin, my own brother and their business partners to beat me, and hit me.
My family are so violent - they have made me homeless - and the video shows the array of beatings I have gotten.
And instead of protecting me - have been punishing me for reporting the sexual assault. In order to protect my perpetrator.
By the way, (the police report on this criminal trial in March 2024, was concluded without the officer even mentioning my evidence or interviewing me!).
I've been summoned to stand trial in a criminal court in Bangladesh. But this is because I am facing reprisal for reporting sex crimes and for successfully chaining a order from a judge to investigate the suspicious circumstances of my father's death, 20 years ago.
I hope my story will explain why many victims of sexual assault or rape never wish to come forward. Or will often report many years later.
I am 53 and I'm the chief executive of Lovedesh - a pioneering British luxury retail brand.
I almost got killed by my family and their supporters. For taking a stand against sexual assault. Well they are protecting my perpetrator, an elderly married man, I've been having nightmares thinking what he might have been doing to the most innocent, poorest women who do not have the platform or privilege to fight back.
My family have been filing false criminal charges against me and my daughter and those I support via my philanthropic work.
I, a British business woman reported a sex crime in a foreign country. That occured during a business trip to Bangladesh in 2019. There is no help from the Government for us British people, when we report a sex crime in a foreign country. And why I need your help.
After finally reporting it in 2022 (as due to Covid I could not), I almost got killed. And need urgent protection. You can watch more in the video over at www.justiceforyasmin.co.uk
Currently there is no help. Did you know that? From our Govt. There is absolutely no legal obligation for them to help us British who go abroad. How do I know? After I reported a sex crime. I uncovered corruption and bribery is being used to halt the truth coming out. Including my sex crime report being sabotaged.
Obviously corruption is in every country and I would state that Bangladesh on the whole, has been very good to me. But due to the actions of the few, my life and that of my daughters and many close to me, have suffered.
I have uncovered my family using corruption and bribery in Bangladesh to halt the truth coming out. My own crime report being sabotaged - as the dodgy police officer investigated it all without even speaking to me. Nor interviewing my witnesses!
Now, I plan to be the woman who is going to change British law and hopefully Bangladeshi law forever, so that no victim of reporting a sex crime in a foreign country. Ever suffers again. Be it Bangladesh or Spain or Brazil. And that those of us reporting sex crimes are taken seriously and that if I loved ones die abroad, we get the appropriate investigations and authorities involved.
I want to get British law changed so that more protection is given to British citizens reporting the crime of sexual assault or rape in a foreign country. And that any British citizen going abroad to undertake domestic violence - to inflict crime on another British person is punished severely.
It is terrible how brown women like us born and bred in London, UK - yet raised in evil backward sexist societies are being attacked for telling the truth. By not just my family but an online army of trolls - while social media platforms like tiktok does nothing to stop them.
My daughter and I get daily death and rape threats. We are decent, good people - just go and look at the work in fashion we have been doing to help others who are impoverished. As helping others has helped me to understand perhaps I now need to ask for help. Urgently. As this is a matter of life and death.
After being punished. Beaten and attacked and put into hospital nobody helped. As punishment for reporting sexual assault at the hands of an evil, elderly married male cousin called Saleh Ahmed Khasru of Sylhet, Bangladesh. After I confronted him I found that in 2021 my entire family were enjoying a boat trip with him and this includes my own British solicitor sister, her husband and a roster of cousins.
My perpetrator Khasru (in the purple shirt) is a first cousin. He is married with three adult kids. One of whom is a daughter, married herself. He is protected by all my male cousins in Bangladesh, UK and Sweden.
As well as my own blood family. You see the woman standing next to Khaasru with black sunglasses? That is Nazmin Choudhury, a British solicitor my own blood sister who is married to the man in the pale blue shirt Enamul Haque Choudhury (currently facing criminal charges in Bangladesh for beating me up - not just once but several times).
This is why I need your help. I want my story to come out of how they have all punished me and my innocent beautiful daughter Amber Choudhury-Kaye, who is 22 now. Who is currently left stranded in Bangladesh, because another punishment they have meted out to me is dragging me as and my daughter - through the Bangladeshi courts, using dodgy lawyers, to accuseus for fake false crimes. Eg theft of two cows. Theft of paint cans. All fake - all discharged by the courts.
WHAT HAPPENED TO ME - THE SEX CRIME
I was a foreign British business woman in Bangladesh, and in 2019 Khasru forced himself on me. Put his tongue in my mouth and tried to rape me. After I had cried to him about domestic abuse at the hands of my wicked family.
I forced him off and out of shock stayed silent (as many victims do) - after he attacked me. As I was told if I breathed a word, he may get me killed .As he is powerful. Locally. But I did inform my British High Commissioner Robert Chatterton Dickson who was useless.
From 2019, I tried everything to put Khasru in jail. But I was scared. As in my backward community who have heritage from Sylhet Bangladesh, and run a "cult" where they mix Islam with patriarchy and worship men over and above all, (after all that is why they are protecting Khasru rather than their own female relative), we women and girls in this community were instructed never to go to the police. Nor are we allowed to involve strangers as this is deemed being a "snitch".
We are expected to always launch any complaints through an internal mediation process called 'Bisaar". This is why I even did a video and put it on a private setting and sent it to all my cousins pleading them to help me.
Now while I am estranged from my entire family, I still followed their stupid protocol to no avail. See below. It was also sent to Khasru's sister. She herself told me "I have no power sister - but you do what you need to do and has never contacted me since".
None of them did. In fact they ignored me and many relatives have continued to harass me.
Instead I have suffered. And the time has come for Muslim women like me to call out the disgusting way that bad, wicked men who falsely identify as "Muslim" (as Islam is a great religion and gives much protection to women so no hate against Muslims please) are being protected by both UK and Bangladeshi corrupt individuals. These corrupt folks will not help us brown women report crimes done in secret by disgusting perverts.
I need your help to fund
1. Legal fees and to pursue a court case as well as criminal action in UK and Bangladesh.
2. To hire a UK lawyer to issue legal letter to demand TikTok find the names of those who have sent me death and rape threats. And to take my family to court for civil damages.
3. To fund a podcast - that tells this story.

5. To pay for PR team to spread the story. So I can go viral. As every time I tell a newspaper they either ghost us.
6. To get to a safe home as my home has been doxxed (revealed online on social media)

I am an innocent woman trying to expose the wrongdoings of my evil family. Who are already guilty of beating me up and are extremely dangerous perpetrators of domestic violence.
I will share evidence of how my own blood family has protected him. My blood family has also filed false cases against me.
This includes biological mother, my aforementioned sister Nazmin Choudhury of NC Law (a solicitor, who Solicitors Regulation Authority are investigating for the second time as she keeps sending false letters about me to powerful people using her letterhead). She is married to her own first cousin Enam - who beat me up in Bangladesh. And is a dangerous bully with a son who is a teacher at a Muslim school in London called Al- Risalah and when I contacted the school to tell them - they have also ghosted me and need to be cancelled.
This all began in 2004, the year my father passed away. In his will, he stated 1/3 of his estate to go to the poor. And this is how I ended up coming across this vile married cousin. As he groomed me and insisted he would be like a father/brother figure - until he pounced on me, out of the blue. And is now walking free.
This will was hidden from me and ever since discovering it, I have been on a mission to make sure his estate is divided equally and fairly. Since doing this, my family have done all they can to halt my peaceful efforts.
CAVEAT
By the way there is no criticism of the Government of Bangladesh. They have done more to help me. Than my own British Govt. Eg. The Bangladesh High Commission in London has even written me a letter of support. Has allowed me to meet with them. I'm still waiting to meet Her Excellency Saida Muna Tasneem. So fingers crossed she meets me.
So thank you Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. As she has done much to protect women but has no idea who I am as I do not have access to her. As am sure if she knew - she would help me. 110% - so maybe send this to her office?
I am an expert on human rights and while I'm busy protecting the most poorest and vulnerable in my day job - my own personal life is in tatters as a victim of sex crime that occurred in a foreign country. During a business trip.
All it takes for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing. I'm trying to do something here and by doing it, perhaps I will be the one who make sure that your loved one gets the protection they need should they ever find themselves to be a victim of sex crime.
