Hello, my name is Joslin Leard, sister of Zachary Leard. 31-year-old Zachary James Leard was murdered on Tuesday February 21, 2023, in broad daylight. As we work through our grief, we are making arrangements for funeral services, a celebration of life, lawyer fees and taking care of his mother as he was her primary caregiver. Simultaneously we are fighting every day for Zachary's killer(s) to be arrested and receive justice in his name. Zachary was a loved man by everyone who knew him. Zachary gave everything he could for his family and friends, he would stop everything he was doing to help someone he loved. Zachary gave so much to his mother, Denise. He was her primary caregiver and assisted her with all her daily tasks, doctor's appointments, expenses and more.

Zachary was a beloved member of the LGBTQIA+ community, who worked at the Pegasus a prominently gay bar. He participated in drag, attended many drag shows, and pride parades, supported the gay community with funding and more importantly his love. While we navigate through these tough times, we are asking for help from our community to help give him the funeral he deserves. Any contribution made will go towards all the expenses that have come from this tragedy. The most important contribution we are asking from the community is to like and share this post with the #JusticeforZacharyLeard. Our hearts are with everyone who is affected by Zachary's untimely death.
