Seven months ago, Lenora's doctor found malignant nodules in her lungs. In May, the doctors were able to determine that the nodules were from an aggressive form of uterine cancer that had spread. Since that time Lenora has fought hard to try and beat this cancer and recover so that she can continue to be a wonderful mother, loving wife, sister and friend. She was really looking forward to getting back in the classroom and teaching in this new school year. Lenora has kept her positive attitude and been amazingly stoic through the pain and challenges that she has been dealt these past months.

After surgery, chemotherapy, blood clots, serious infections and setbacks, it was determined that the aggressive uterine cancer could not be overcome. Lenora is currently in hospice. We are all praying she has a peaceful death, can be pain free and join her parents and other loved ones in Heaven.

Lenora has always been a giver with a servant's heart. Throughout her life, she has shared her

talents with others. Many have benefitted from the sharing of her God-given gifts - from her

vocal talent to her baking skills to her sewing and crafting ability and more. Lenora had a

wonderful work ethic and was a dedicated teacher at NISD. She impacted the lives of those

around her daily and will be missed.

We are grateful for the emotional and professional support the family has received from NISD administration as well as staff at Stevens HS and Vale MS. Justin is a plumber with NISD and the district staff have been a blessing during this difficult time.

We ask at this time that you donate to our fundraiser to provide monies to assist Justin with the immediate and future needs that he has and will continue to have - funeral costs, medical and

living expenses, and cost of college for Andrew and Lucille.

We also ask for your prayers for Justin, Andrew and Lucille in the coming days, months and years.
