Justin and Rebecca Carlson

On 10/22 (Also their 3rd wedding anniversary)  Justin had brain surgery to remove what was thought to be a small brain tumor which was causing him severe headaches and double vision. It turned out to be a much more serious surgery than expected. The tumor was much larger resulting in the entire forehead part of his skull being removed. As of the date, the prosthetic forehead bone has not been replaced because of many post surgery problems, including him not knowing who anyone is and not being able to speak, a fever and infection in his lungs. He was also placed on a ventilator for several days because of breathing problems. Today Justin was on the upswing, he recognized his visitors and stood up with assistance.  His surgeon is hoping for his body to be right for surgery this Monday or Tuesday. There have been many people praying for Justin and we are so appreciative.  Justin works for FCPS and has exhausted all his leave because this illness has been going on for some time while many tests were being done. Rebecca cannot work right now because she needs to be with him everyday while he is still in Neoscience ICU. However she doesn't get paid when she's off.  Most of his medical bills are covered by his insurance but living expenses are not of course.  Please help with any donation you can afford for any unpaid medical bills, rehab, prescription copays when he is released. Also the household bills that could not be paid while they are both off of work. Thank you, and keep praying.
