In Loving Memory of Justin Y. Donhauser ph.d

Hello, my name is Donna and I am Justin Donhauser's Mom.

Justin was born June 05 1981, a gifted, spontaneous happy child, who always kept me on my toes. Justin was a self-taught musician, in a few bands in the Utica-Rome area and Buffalo New York. Best known for JGF who performed on the WARP tour.

Justin received degrees in Philosophy and Religion at suny.oneonta.edu. BA. Summa Cum Laude, in Philosophy: SUNY Buffalo. MA in Philosophy at BU. NSF: Ecosystem Restoration PhD Fellow at UB and PhD in Philosophy at UB.

Justin taught from 2008-2016 (SUNY) at Buffalo State.

2016-18 Rotman Institute of Philosophy University of Western Ontario. Working as a Postdoctoral Associate

2019 to Present at Bowling Green University Ohio.

Justin was a charming, happy beautiful soul from the day he was born, although plagued with medical issues also from that day, he lived his life with gusto and happiness. Diagnosed with KSHV and Craniopharyngioma as a pre-teen. Justin had ongoing medical issues throughout his life. In 2021 diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic esophageal cancer, which invaded his bones and organs He fought a fierce battle for the last few years but the cancer progressed. He was in treatment for two years. Justin bravely endured surgery to remove numerous cancerous tumors from his brain. Justin never gave up. He wanted to live with all his being to see his children grow up to adulthood. He talked of walking them down the aisle and of the grandchildren he would have

Sadly we lost Justin on October 12, 2023. My heart is broken and He is missed by many relatives, students, friends, classmates, neighbors, and colleagues, but most of all his children. Remember the good times. Please remember Justin in the fun times.

I am asking for support for his girls ages nine and fourteen. They need things for school, their extracurricular activities, and future education. Also, I would like to have a get-together Celebration of Justin's Life, in the spring of 24'.
