Justin Carter Family Battling Stage 4 Cancer

My name is Kristen McFarlin, and I am raising funds for two of our closest and dearest friends Justin & Deidra Carter. My husband has been lifelong friends with these two amazing people. And I have been lucky enough to call them family for the last 20 or so years. A little over two years ago, Justin was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 cancer. Justin has battled through many surgeries, round after round of chemo and radiation. What started in one area of cancer has spread. In these 2 years, Justin has received the devastating news that his cancer is in his colon, liver and other areas of the body. The last two years have been unbelievably hard for this family, but they make me so proud with how hard they fight. They have two amazing children, and this family has wanted to ask for nothing throughout this difficult time. But when Justin received this diagnosis and began aggressive treatment, he was forced to leave his job. He lost his health insurance and his life insurance. His family has worked tirelessly to get through this, but it is past time that we as a community, step in to help in some small way. Justin and Deidra have been fighting this in private for so long and would never want to ask for extra help. These people would give the shirt off their back right now if you needed it and never ask for anything. It's time to take care of them instead. So please, if you can donate anything, do so. And if you cannot afford a monetary donation, PLEASE PRAY for this beautiful family. We love them so much and want to do anything and everything we possibly can for them. Helping them ease the financial burdens of this terrible situation is the least I feel we can do.
