Justin Couture Medical Bills

Hi my name is Randy Giroux and I am starting a fund raiser for a family friends son Justin who has run into a serious medical surprise. Medical bills will be crazy!!! Justin Couture is the son of Richard Couture who both have been involved in the Hockey community for many years in NH. They are great people and now is our time to help them while they are in need.I have never done one of these but felt the call to help as much as I can. I have been keeping up with their facebooks and keep in touch with his dad. I will post as much info as I can get on a regular basis. EVERY PENNY DONATED WILL GO DIRECTLY TO JUSTIN.

I'd loved to thank everyone for your prayers. My son Justin Couture has made amazing progress since November 20th when he ended up collapsing at Portsmouth Hospital with heart failure and a stroke. He was transported to Tufts Medical center the following Monday on the highest form of life support. An ecmo heart bypass and intubated. He spent 2 weeks in a medically induced coma where he had another stroke and a small brain bleed. After over a month at Tufts ( the best care and team of Medical staff I have ever encountered) he finally transferred to North East Rehab center at Elliot Hospital. He is making great progress although he has a lot of hard work in front of him. I know he can do it. The Doctor's at Tufts were amazed at his survival and cheered the day he left. I am convinced it was all the prayers coming from all of you that helped him survive this and continues to improve.

This is the best news in the world. We are so proud of you Justin Couture. Love you with all my heart and soul!

 

DECEMBER 30TH

Was able to stand yesterday was very exciting and a huge step in my progress to getting back to normal for those of you who do not know I had a couple strokes and a pulmonary embolism and was put in as coma for 2 weeks had d some heart failure been in the hospital for over a a month and just recently moved to rehab it’s gonna be a long and hard journey back but I’m up for the challenge
