Justin Ijames

Justin Ijames passed away unexpectedly and we are helping Justin's wife, Katy, and son, Parker, raise money for the very unexpected funeral costs and the added expenses this has brought. Any amount over the initial ask will go towards additional expenses and towards a scholarship for Parker.

Justin Ijames Obituary

Justin C. Ijames, 35, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 13, 2024. He was a loving husband to Katy, a devoted father to Parker, a nephew to his Uncle Scott, and a brother to Brandon. Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marlene and Bob Brandt.

Justin was a man of many talents. Given his ambitious attitude he rose through the ranks at 3 Rivers Federal Credit Union from Branch Manager to their Process Improvement Manager. He had a great sense of humor and was a stand-up comedy lover, in fact it was his dream to become a comedian on stage one day. He was also a music enthusiast and a drummer who loved rock grunge classics from Pearl Jam to Weezer. Justin was a black belt and a fan of both IU and the San Fransisco 49ers, depending on the year you asked him. He loved camping outdoors, but three days max. He was a grill and sauce master who enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Justin was a bleacher Dad who loved watching his son Parker play sports. He was known for his Irish goodbye, but his friends and family will never forget his infectious smile and his ability to make them laugh.

Funeral services for Justin will take place on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 7:00 pm with visitation 3 hours prior beginning at 4:00 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St, in Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials in Justin’s honor may be directed to the family in care of Katy Ijames.
