Justin Londoff’s Motorcycle Accident

Donation protected

Friends, Family, and all those that didn't give up on Justin's recovery. Please read his story below written by him. I got his permission to share for this GoFundMe page. Roland and I have known him for 30 years. We adore his family and him. Please help if you can. If you can't help, will you please share his message. I need this to go viral. Tragic motorcycle accident that will continue to impact him and his family through no fault of his own. Air-Vac was $56,000 or more, his jaw was wired shut so not sure what dental costs will surface. I'm hearing estimates of $20,000 or more. The woman that hit him likely has limits. He has lost wages of several months. Nobody can sustain this type of financial impact. Please, please help. Please, please share.

Special shout out to all the critical responders. Read Justin's story below:

"I know it’s Sunday and I don’t want to, by any means, bum anyone out at the end of their weekend. I have waited until I could post this without breaking down every five seconds. So here we go. First, I want to thank the EMT’s and Firemen who showed up on scene. Second, I want to thank the Trauma Team and Nurses at Mercy Hospital. They are nothing short of incredible! Thank you for the bottom of my heart for not giving up on me, not giving up on my leg, and for the roughly12 hours of surgery to keep me ALIVE; putting me back together.

The EMT called in a "chopper" when other options varied. One man fought to get me the helicopter; and as a result, saved my life by getting me the Air-Vac. As fate would have it, his daughter happened to be the Trauma Nurse on duty when the helicopter landed . She was the first to work on me.

I was given 10 units of blood; and my family was told it didn’t look good. My babies - who may be 23 and 19 years old but are my sons - had to stand with their poor mother [Nicole Londoff] and try to stay positive. I'm sure it was hard to comprehend all this.

I’m writing this message for two reasons. 1. As a thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has been there for my family and me throughout this accident [and recovery]. 2. Share my journey on what I have been through so that maybe, just maybe, you will appreciate your loved ones just a little more after hearing my story; and about how fragile life really is. [Chris: God had a different plan for Justin. Nicole and Justin have four children and God knew it wasn't Justin's time to leave them.]

The team on the ground, the 1st Responders, are the most amazing people you will ever meet. Bobby Griffin and I go back as long time friends since college days. He helped load me into the Air-Vac. Kristine Edwards, an off-duty nurse happened to drive up; and out of the kindness of her heart, pulled over to sit with me and help the Trauma Team keep me alive.

The following individuals are from the Wentzville Fire Department….Ryan House, Fred Hohenshell, Chase Anderson, Keven Bathke, Nate Kuhn , Bobbie Griffen… and this man….whom I owe my life, Tommy

Shine. [Chris: If he has forgotten anybody, it is purely accidental. This has been a long struggle.]

Brother, Tommy Shine, I haven’t got the words - nor do I know how to thank you properly - for saving my life. There isn't a sunrise I wake up to or a sunset I look at that I am not reminded how you fought to keep me alive. I am here today enjoying these blessing because of you and your co workers. Just know you all and your families will carry a special place in our hearts forever. If there is anything, anytime, anywhere, we can of help to any of you and yours, we will be there for you 100%.

My family: Wow! Where do I begin? 1. If it wasn’t for Nicole Londoff, coming straight there to be with our sons, Gavin Londoff, Cole Londoff, and Ayden Londoff, thank you. 2. Niki [Nicole] never left my side. I would probably never have made it through the almost 12 hours of surgery on Day 1 and the other surgeries thereafter. Poor Niki had to take almost 2 months off work to take care of me there. It’s a debt that I can never repay and that I humbly thank her and love her for it. 3. To my sons: I'm so sorry you had to deal with, and still are having to deal with, it.

I didn’t take the proper precautions that I knew I should have; and it almost cost me my life. I owe you all an apology and I am sorry for all that you have been through. Just know I fight every day to heal so I can get back to you.

Dr Gary Gray: You are not only the most amazing doctor a person could have; but you are also one of the most remarkable, loving, thoughtful, and caring men with a heart of pure gold. I can proudly call you brother and friend.

Doug and Dan Behlmann: I couldn’t possibly work for finer men. All your support during this time has been nothing short of amazing; and from the bottom of mine and my family's heart, I thank you. We love you guys. My co-workers and everyone at Behlmann, thank you. Thank you all for supporting my family. It is forever in my heart; and I humbly thank you for all you’ve done.

Robert Miller, brother, what can I say but thank you and I love you. Thank you for taking care of the kids, keeping the lines of communication flowing with Niki, and doing anything we needed. Brother, I love you [since we were kits and were little]. I am so grateful I have you as my #1. I wouldn’t know what to do without you. I love you and your family, which I consider mine. Anyway, LOL more than I have the words to say. Always and forever, brother, I love you

Jason Moore, all my wrestling friends and family, even the ones that reached out from the old-school-days: Thank you for coming out and taking the time to throw our family a fundraiser to help out with some of the medical bills.. Your kind hearts and support for our family is overwhelming and I’m humbled and grateful for all of you. Thank you all from the bottom of my soul, thank you!

I'm almost done here. One last thing I have to ask of you. Take a long look at the picture of me hugging my daughter. I had been sedated for over two weeks and hadn’t seen her until that moment. In that moment, that hug lasted a lifetime; and yet, every day, I hugged her; that hug was different because it was a gift.

Details: Somehow I got hit head on at 70 mph with no lid and went from almost pronounced dead to hugging my daughter and my sons and being home in 4.5 weeks. [Chris: Truly a miracle.] The doctors still don’t understand how I am healing so fast. They all tell me I I am a true miracle. I can tell you this, I don’t hug a single member of this family the same way I used to.

Life is short and tomorrow is not promised to anybody so be smart and live your life; but don’t forget you live for more than just yourself when you have family waiting for you at home.

I know I may have missed the police officers on duty that night and the helicopter pilot but they were not allowed to give out their names; but, they too, as all of you have prayed for me and said so many kind words. You all have been there supporting us and I love you all! You are the reason I am still here. ❤️
