Justin Teliqure (Krissy)'s top surgery

NOTE: THIS IS A SURPRISE UNTIL KRISSY’S BIRTHDAY – please don’t mention to them beforehand. :)

Hi friends! I’m setting up this fundraiser for my wonderful partner Krissy / Justin Teliqure who is preparing for their top surgery in 2024.

I’m sure I don’t need to go into a lot of detail right now, because if you’re reading this, you likely already know what an incredible person Krissy is.

Krissy’s birthday is coming up, and they’ve asked that instead of physical gifts, they would prefer some help towards their top surgery fund – the ultimate gift of gender euphoria. I wanted to surprise them a little by setting this up before their actual birthday, so it can still be ‘gifted’ on the day of their party from us all.

As some of you might know, top surgery in Australia costs upwards of $10-12,000, is not covered by public health insurance, and private health insurance only covers the costs of a hospital stay (not the surgeon or anesthesiologist). This also doesn't include the ongoing costs of referrals, appointments, psychological assessments, check-ups, and prescriptions that are either required for or in addition to surgery.
