Justin turns 50: help him reach Arunachala!

Hi, and welcome :)

You might or might not now that his year Justin turns 50! If you wish to join me in manifesting a special birthday gift for him (or if you're just curious to hear about it), keep reading.

For years, Justin has carried a heartfelt dream: to one day journey to the sacred mountain of Arunachala in India.

One of Justin's greatest spiritual influences has been the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi: a humble man (now deceased) who also happens to be considered one of the most important and influential spiritual teachers of the 20th century. He lived at the foot of mountain Arunachala for most of his life. This revered place holds deep spiritual significance, being a center for prayer and meditation that has inspired seekers for centuries.. Ramana’s wisdom has profoundly shaped Justin’s outlook on life and continues to guide him as he strives to integrate these teachings into his daily practice.

Justin's own Swami once encouraged him to make the journey to India. It was a message that resonated deeply with him but has remained unfulfilled due to life's many commitments and challenges.

Recently, when I asked Justin if he ever intends to make this trip, his response was bittersweet: “It’s just a dream at this point”

But I believe this dream deserves to become reality. This year, as Justin turns 50, I want to make this milestone truly unforgettable by gifting him the opportunity to walk the sacred grounds of Arunachala, to pray, meditate, and honor the teachings and people who have profoundly impacted his life.

This is where your help would be so appreciated! As friends and family who know and love Justin, I’m inviting you to join me in making this idea come true :)

I plan on tagging along (mostly to make sure he comes back hehe) out of curiosity and because I wish to support him and share this experience. I'm not sure how I will make the hike around the sacred mountain ...but maybe certain questions are best asked at the proper time.

While I will be accompanying Justin on this journey, this fundraiser is specifically to cover his own flight expenses. I will be covering my own costs separately. Any contribution, big or small, helps and I now this surprise would be so much more special for him, knowing that his whole tribe is cheering him on.

As a thank you, I will personally send a heartfelt message with highlights of how the trip unfolded and share pictures and stories :)

When you donate, you can leave a message for Justin to cheer him on or share your thoughts. I will gather all the messages and present them to him as part of the surprise on his birthday, March 25th.

Even if you can’t or don’t wish to donate, you’re still warmly invited to leave a message for Justin—I know he would deeply appreciate your kind words and encouragement!

I certainly feel blessed to have a place in this man's life and I'm excited to do something out of the ordinary for him.

Forse lo sapete, o forse no, ma quest'anno Justin compie 50 anni!

Se volete unirvi a me nel manifestare un regalo di compleanno speciale per lui (o se siete semplicemente curiosi di sapere di cosa si tratta), continuate a leggere.

Da anni, Justin coltiva un sogno sincero: poter un giorno raggiungere la montagna sacra di Arunachala, in India. Una delle maggiori influenze spirituali nella vita di Justin sono gli insegnamenti di Sri Ramana Maharshi: un umile uomo (ora deceduto) che è anche considerato uno dei più importanti e influenti maestri spirituali del XX secolo. Ramana ha vissuto ai piedi della montagna Arunachala per gran parte della sua vita. Questo luogo ha un profondo significato spirituale, essendo un centro di preghiera e meditazione che ha attratto pellegrini e cercatori per secoli. La saggezza di Ramana ha profondamente influenzato la visione che Justin ha della vita e continua a guidarlo mentre cerca di integrare questi insegnamenti nella sua pratica quotidiana.

Anche lo Swami di Justin (anch'esso ormai deceduto) anni fa lo ha incoraggiato a raggiungere l'India almeno una volta.

Recentemente, quando gli ho chiesto se avesse intenzione di fare questo viaggio, la sua risposta è stata: "a questo punto é solo un sogno".

Io credo che questo sogno meriti di diventare realtà.

Quest'anno, per segnare e festeggiare i suoi 50 anni, vorrei regalargli l'opportunità di posare i piedi sul terreno sacro di Arunachala, pregare, meditare e onorare gli insegnamenti e le persone che hanno profondamente influenzato la sua vita.

Ed è qui che il vostro aiuto sarebbe davvero apprezzato! Come amici che conoscono e amano Justin, vi invito a unirvi a me per manifestare questa idea.

Io intendo accompagnarlo (principalmente per assicurarmi che torni indietro hehe), per curiosità e perché voglio sostenerlo e condividere questa esperienza. Non sono sicura di come me la caveró con il pellegrinaggio attorno alla montagna...ma forse certe domande è meglio farsele al momento giusto :)

Sebbene io accompagnerò Justin in questo viaggio, questa raccolta fondi è specificamente destinata a coprire il suo biglietto aereo. Io coprirò i miei costi separatamente.

Ogni contributo, grande o piccolo, è utile e sono sicura che questa sorpresa sarebbe molto più speciale per lui, sapendo che tutta la sua "tribù" lo sta sostenendo e fa il tifo per lui.
