Justin Wilson's Road to Recovery
Justin was in the hospital from Sunday 9/1 to Sunday 9/8, and at one point we thought we may lose him. His airways closed up and he could not breathe. If he had been alone at the time, he would have died. Luckily he had friends with him who responded perfectly and helped save his life.
He was unable to breathe on his own for days and even the regular ventilator that breathes for people was not enough to keep him alive. He required a special type of ventilator that not many hospitals have. They had to send a special respiratory team, with that ventilator, from Emanuel to stabilize him and transport him to the ICU there.
His diagnosis ended up being VAPING TOXICITY.
Luckily Justin has made it home but he still has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He will survive this but needs help along the way.
Justin has medications he will need to continue to make sure his oxygen levels stay up. And since the incident, he has been out of work and won't be going back for an undecided amount of time.
Your support for Justin will help to pay for his medications, continuous treatments and livelihood until he can get back on his feet.
We appreciate any and all help. Thank you.
