Justine Harding’s Surgery and Recovery Fund

Five years ago Justine went through an extreme physical trauma that has caused long lasting and dire damage to her body. Since the initial damage was done she has suffered reoccurring mastitis infections. She has been in and out of the hospital more times than she can say in those five years, taken so many rounds of antibiotics for the reoccurring mastitis infections that her body is now becoming antibiotic resistant, leaving her incredibly vulnerable. She has had sepsis four times in those five years and come

too close to death too many times. Her body has suffered so many horrible side effects from medications, from the infections, from the trauma and the extreme stress her body has been coping with for so many years.

After doing everything she can to manage these horrible reoccurring infections she has now reached the point where she is facing a double mastectomy as her last resort. In order to be able to have the support she needs Justine is moving away from her home and her life here in Austin to go stay with her mother in Ohio. This will give her the immediate physical support she will need to heal and recover from having a double mastectomy. However she will be unable to work or provide for herself and her sweet dog Chance for at least six months. She will need help covering her medical costs, moving costs as well as her basic living expenses.

Justine has been a corner stone to the Bouldin Creek community for four years now. She is such a fiercely kind, loving and welcoming person. She needs our support in order to get the help that she needs to heal her body.
