Justine’s Journey to Recovery - Aneurysm Surgery

My name is Tasmia and I am a close family friend to 26 year old, Justine Corpuz. He is a friend that has stood by everyone’s side through everything. His recent story is something I’d like to shine some light on.

In June 2023, Justine was in a critical motorcycle accident. The driver of the vehicle sped through his stop sign and collided with Justine’s motorcycle. In the incident, his motorcycle was totaled and he suffered many injuries to his bones and a concussion. He was initially recovering fairly well, but unfortunately, we were unaware this was only the beginning to the difficulties he would soon face.

On the evening of Monday, July 17th, 2023, Justine was found by his family vomiting followed by a seizure that led to his unconsciousness. He was immediately transported to the best hospital that could care for his condition. He had two emergency brain aneurysm repair surgeries. Thankfully the bleeding in his brain has been controlled, however, since the surgeries, he remains unconscious and on life support. His responses continue to be weak, but as his brain slowly recovers we merely hope for the best. This tragedy has come suddenly upon his family and friends. While we work through supporting him through his long recovery, I have created this fund to aid his family and medical expenses.
