Justin Maddox's Road to Recovery

Justin Maddox is an incredible son, brother, and friend. He was seriously injured in an auto accident on March 26th, 2016 in Athens, GA that resulted in heaven gaining two angels, and leaving Justin hospitalized with a shattered pelvis, a lacerated bladder, and a traumatic brain injury that will most likely take 1-2 years to heal. Justin began treatment at Athens Regional MC and was thankfully, after a long awaited process, accepted to Shepard Center Tuesday, April 26th. It is a day by day battle that tests his patience and will require extensive therapy and care. 

 Anyone who knows Justin Maddox can’t help but be captivated by his smile; he truly lights up a room. He is a recent graduate from UGA, an adventurer, and a free-spirit. During school he worked many events at UGA football games, multiple X-games events in Austin and Aspen, and upon graduation landed a job as an equipment manager intern with the Atlanta Falcons. His work ethic is unparalleled, but it is only part of Justin’s life. Justin was in the process of applying to Graduate School in which he was passionate about pursuing his M.B.A.

Justin has love for the world that is indescribable… his passion to see the artistic value in everyday items and things many people overlook was unmatched.  Justin’s love for his family and circle of friends is only surpassed by his love for God.
