I am organizing a GoFundMe for my future brother-in-law Justin and sister Jenna. Justin was diagnosed with testicular cancer in April 2024, and doctors believed that they had caught it early enough that it had not spread. He received surgery in early May and they were able to remove the cancer, and he was declared cancer-free in July 2024. During the 3 month checkup, his scans initially presented as clear but upon further review, the oncologist felt that a lymph node near his spine looked suspicious. After more testing, it was confirmed on October 30th, 2024 that the cancer has come back and has spread to his lymph nodes and he will need intense chemotherapy.

Jen and Justin got engaged in August 2023 and were in the process of planning their wedding when Justin was first diagnosed and they decided to put off the wedding due to the financial burden placed on them as Justin could not work after surgery and Jenna was the only one able to continue working. Now that the cancer has come back and Justin will need further treatment they are once again having to put their lives on hold to navigate this devastating news. I hope to raise funds to relieve some of the financial strain placed on them as Justin will once again need to stop working while undergoing treatment and Jenna will be the sole financial provider during this time. Money raised will go towards any medical costs not covered by MSP/benefits, undergoing fertility treatments and everyday costs as well as giving Jenna the ability to take time off work as needed to support Justin such as taking him to his chemotherapy appointments. I know times are tough around this time of year but any contribution is greatly appreciated and will help fund Justin’s recovery.
