Justin’s farewell
Donation protected
Another update: Justins postmortem came back and we now know Justin passed away due to heart failure. We are now in the process of trying to arrange the next steps, we are still hoping to give him a proper funeral but funds are very low and we have tried lots of options to secure more to no avail. We have enough for a non attended cremation but we are still hoping to be able to gain some more so we can actually have a service for him and for all to say goodbye properly. We will keep you updated with this as we still have to speak with a few more people before we can continue with the final plan. Thank you again for everyone who has donated and reached out for your kinds worlds and offers of support I know it means a huge amount to my mum especially!
Just an update: Justin is still with the coroner so at the moment we don’t know when we can officially arrange his funeral, once we have more information we will update everyone. A big thank you to everyone who has donated so far
Hello my name is Daniela and here is my story of why I have decided to set this up. This is to help my mum who has this past weekend lost her long term partner Justin at the age of only 54 years old. Justin had been ill for a little while and with only the support of my mum the financial burden of given Justin a funeral has been left to her. My mum is devastated with the loss of Justin as is his beloved dog tuppence. My mum has hopes to give him a decent farewell. Unfortunately there is no prepaid funeral arrangements and both Justin and my mum are/were on very low income due to his illness and her disability, iv taken over contacting the funeral directors for her as she’s struggling to talk to anyone about his passing and after inquiring about funeral costs my mum is understandably upset she may not be able to say goodbye properly. I believe everyone should have a decent and dignified send off and I would give my mum the world if I could, she has been there for me in my darkest hour and I hope I can help her in hers and help her have the closure she deserves! She cared for Justin while also being disabled, travelling to hospitals and catering to his needs in and out of the home all from the goodness of her heart and love for him. My mum would help anyone in anyway and now it’s her turn to receive some kindness back. The cost of a standard funeral has been quoted around £4000 and that’s without the added extras. So if you can help my mum say goodbye properly I and her will be entirely grateful no matter how big or small. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
Rest in peace Justin
