My name is Marina Ramos and I am a rising Junior at Clark University in Worcester. I am a French and International Development and Social Change double major and I have made the most exciting decision of my life by choosing to spend the majority of my summer in Operation Groundswell's volunteer program in Tanzania, Africa:

I will immerse myself in a culture I never thought I would have the opportunity to get to know. I will travel around a country with a group of people that I have never met, but share the same goals and aspirations as me as we backpack through Tanzania with a purpose. What is this purpose? To serve, help, explore, expand and understand who the Tanzanian people are and what it is like to live in Tanzania. This will be a game changing experience for me and I can't wait until it starts, but I need your help!
I cannot afford to pay for the program fees, so I ask you guys to help me out as much as you can. Whether it is by donating me $1 or $100, anything and everything will help me and I will appreciate it greatly. With your help, I will be able to get to live a life that I never thought I would be able to!
