Fundraiser for the love ❤ of my life Kristina H.

10 months ago, I met the love of my life. Her name is Kristina K. Hagstron, she is 39 years old and was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. She is a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and attended University of Delaware after that. For the past 2 1/2 years she has been working for The Delaware Department of Labor in the unemployment department, and she adores it. Kristina is kind, sweet, caring , intelligent, and goes above qnd beyond as much as she can for her loved ones. Her amazing personality shines bright 10 feet in front of her, and her eyes light up and sparkle when she smiles at you.  Soon after we fell in love, we started making plans for our future , with many goals, hopes and dreams that we have unfortunately have had to put on pause. On June 1st, 2022 she recieved the devastating news that the doctors had found adenocardinoma of the lung- otherwise known as lung cancer. Within the following two weeks she had a PET scan done which led to more horrific news that her cancer was stage 4.  It has been heartbreaking the past several months watching her suffer, mentally and physically. Over the past several months Kristina has been in and out of the hospital and has missed a lot of time from work, and has exhausted all paid leave available. I decided to start this go fund me for her, with the hopes of helping out with living expenses, medical expenses, and other unexpected financial burdens or hurdles that may occur. I hope to raise enough money to at least allievate her financial stress as she faces the most difficult fight of her life. She is starting chemotherapy in two weeks or less, and will have to reduce her working hours from 40 a week to 14 a week if not zero. Kristina loves her job and the people she works with, and they have become her second family away from home. I just hope to raise money to reduce her financial woes right now , thus allowing her to focus 100% on kicking cancer's ass!
