This week tragedy struck the BIS Consulting family. On Monday, while Lacy and Britt Martin were on vacation in the Bahamas Lacy was bitten by a shark.

As the story of Lacy's harrowing incident became widespread the outpouring of support started coming in. We were getting text messages, calls and e-mails all wanting to let us know they were thinking of Lacy and they were praying. After getting a status update on her recovery the most common follow up was 'How can we help?' At that point, we weren’t sure. We were all feeling a little helpless being so far away.
This afternoon the thought occurred to us that maybe there was something that we could do. We know Lacy will be in a hospital for at least a few weeks and this isn't easy for anyone. We also know that Britt will be right by her side as she continues to recover. So we decided to create a Go Fund Me account to help make their stay away from home a little more comfortable. We wanted to share this with you, our extended family.
Thank you for being part of our family and for always showing such love and concern in tragic times. We know that Britt and Lacy will be very appreciative of any donation made.
