Tara’s Medical and Personal Bills
Donation protected
Update:
Tara is going to start a new treatment plan to help with her newly diagnosed BRAF Alterations. We will be having a Benefit in her name in April of 2024, she also has an online store set up for those who are wanting to purchase Support Squad Shirts and sweatshirts. All proceeds go to help with medical bills and expenses due to one income. Thank you
Update:
Tara is home at our Camper in Superior WI. and working hard on recovering.
She was diagnosed with a Rare Brain Cancer and will undergo Radiation and Chemotherapy to remove the 20% of the tumor that was left behind after surgery. She is working hard with OT and PT to get better and to build up her strength and coordination so she doesn’t have to have assistance with her walking. This has been a journey so far for everyone involved and unfortunately it’s not over yet, we are hoping that the treatments remove the rest of the tumor so she can live somewhat of a normal life again. She is still out of work and don’t know when or if she’ll return, your donation is very helpful and appreciated at this time and will go towards bills and medical while Tara is out of work. If you suffer from Vertigo please get an MRI it won’t hurt and might save your live. Thank you so much
I’m Daniel Woodhull, Tara’s Husband helping to raise funds for Medical, Personal Bills(Tara is not working due to her medical situation and I need to take time off of work to help take care of her once she comes home from the hospital) and Gas back and forth to Appointments.
UPDATE: Tara will be admitted April 27th in the am for Surgery to removed a tumor on her Cerebellum, a portion of her cerebellum will need to be removed in order to remove the tumor. She will be in the hospital anywhere from 5 to 10 days and will need someone with her at all times for a couple weeks once she comes home, because of that I will need to take time off of work. Right now she is not working due to her symptoms, she will need to relearn things as she goes. Walking has become an issue for her, coordination is going and it’s hard for her to process things and find the words she needs when talking sometimes. She has migraines on a daily basis that sometimes don’t go away, with the swelling and the position of the tumor it’s causing these headaches. She hates asking people for help or to help her do basic things so it’s going to be an adjustment for her as the days go on, daily chores or daily bathing has become harder and harder for her as she tires out quickly. Let’s help Tara in this time of need as I know she wouldn’t ask herself. We don’t know when or if she’ll be able to receive any type of disability.
Three Months ago Tara started having what she thought was Vertigo symptoms, medication wasn’t helping her so she made an appointment with her Primary Dr from there they decided to do an MRI, and they found a Mass(Tumor) on her brain that suggests brain cancer or cancer from somewhere in her body that spread to her brain and caused the mass(tumor). Therefore she had to have a CT scan and they found an 8 cm x 4 cm mass on her right ovary and they thought it was cancer, she has further testing to do May 15th with the Dr that did her Hysterectomy, they now think it’s an infection in the ovary. In the meantime they want to remove the mass(tumor) on her brain before it causes more problems, once it’s removed they will test it for cancer and see if it was spread there from somewhere else in the body or if it’s brain cancer or not. She had an appointment with the Surgeon yesterday at 2:30 and had a Seizure during it in front of the Surgeon so they sent her to ER and had another MRI to determine if anything has changed with the mass(tumor) if she needed emergency surgery or not, they found some swelling but no other changes so Dr is confident to wait until April 27th for her surgery date. She has to start a seizure medication right away and then a steroid medication a week before surgery. Recovery will be 2 months and full recovery is a year for mobility, balance and speech. She will have to relearn everything. We are looking for lots of prayers as we go through this difficult time in our lives. She is doing ok, but she is very tired and worried about everything and how it’s going to go. She will have to be out of work for awhile after surgery to recover and give her time to relearn everything.
