Jye Matterns Memorial Fund

Hello …. My name is Nicole and I am organising to raise money on behalf of my sister and family after the sudden loss of my nephew and their son, Jye at only 21 years of age.

My family are often the first to help everyone out in times of need, but are too proud to ask for help ourselves when needed.

We would like Jye to have a memorial/with a memorial plaque as well as set up a charity to raise awareness of the dangers of swimming in the ocean no matter how experienced you are, and to get much needed communication sources for emergencies on beaches .

Jye was a very experienced swimmer and this tragedy still occurred. Unfortunately he is still classed as missing but his brother Zac witnessed what happened and unfortunately all hope has been lost. We are totally devastated right now.
