More information about McDowell County Commission on Aging, Inc.: Established in 1973, the MCCOA functions as a multi-service, non-profit, community based program. Our purpose is to maintain and improve daily life for seniors, the disabled, and their caregivers through advocacy, education, promotion of wellness, and provision of support services.

March is the March for Meals fundraising month. The current need at the Commission on Aging is a new ice machine. The current one is down. The ice machine is $1800 and with shipping, we need about $2,000.

Our community has always supported us and I think we can raise this money this month!
