Gaza Emergency Appeal - Help My Family

Dear Comrade,

In a world full of challenges, there are moments when assistance is not just financial support, but a real lifeline and a great moral boost to continue holding on to hope and life.

I am Saed, 27 years old, and yet I have spent my entire life immersed in relentless wars that snatch away ambitions, dreams and goals. I write today from Gaza, from the heart of a place that has witnessed so much pain and destruction. We are a Palestinian family who have lost everything due to the merciless war after our amazing and positive life, as we lost our home and everything that could be a means of earning a living, our businesses and our personal belongings, and our children lost their education and their right to care, and we became refugees without shelter.

In this damned war, I lost my newly built house, my job, my work, my education, my university was destroyed, the entire neighborhood I lived in was completely crushed, and I was seriously injured.

The war has left us with a lot of tragedies, suffering, and sadness. I can no longer sleep because of the horror of what I witnessed during this genocide. I have nightmares of death and destruction every night, and I wake up terrified by this.

Every day, I stand watching the extent of the destruction that has befallen our area from above our bombed house, and I say, can we rebuild our lives again, or will we remain like this, reliving memories in our imagination without hope?

The extent of the suffering here is very great, as everything here has become unfit for life, catastrophic, and full of ruins. My country needs many years to rehabilitate and restore.

During this long conflict, all our money has run out, and hunger has become the most important thing that threatens our lives and exhausts our bodies here, and it is the worst thing we face every day. Every morning, we wake up hoping to find free food to feed our hungry children, as we cannot afford to buy food such as fresh vegetables and fruits due to the high cost of living, and we stand in long and arduous queues to get some gallons of water. We are still fighting for survival, but we only suffer for food and water. It takes away our hope, kills our ambitions, and deprives our children of their right to a normal childhood.

During these long months of suffering and displacement, our clothes and our children's clothes have become worn out and do not protect them from the cold of winter and the harsh climate. They have not received new clothes and shoes due to their high prices and our inability to buy them.

Finally, in the midst of the emotional pain and stress brought by the war, it has also brought unexpected financial burdens after I lost my job and my family's source of income was destroyed. This has prompted me to resort to this platform, humbly and lovingly seeking your help and support to ease the burden of life on our hearts and to be able to buy some essentials such as food, medicine, clean water, clothes, shoes, milk, diapers for our children and to repair our house that was bombed.

We are eager to rebuild our lives after many long months of suffering. . After everything we worked for in our lives was lost and destroyed. We will have to start completely anew but I am grateful that we have survived so far while many have not.

I am very grateful to anyone who is able to help us and I pray that this suffering will end soon.
