Sisterhood for Miles and miles
Donation protected
Sadly, our sister, friend, and classmate--Winnie Blocher Foreman--- lost her son, Miles Foreman, in a tragic car accident on August 22, 2014. Even from a distance, it is easy to conclude that Miles was a young guy who loved music, the outdoors, adventure, art, photography, his family, and his skateboard.
Through generous donations, the alumnae of the WV Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi, as well as their family and friends, are determined to install a memorial park bench at the local skatepark, a special place where Miles spent much time. The directors at the Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority have been most helpful and are eager to help facilitate our plans.
Although we will certainly continue to mourn for Winnie, Owen, David, and the Blocher and Foreman families, let this memorial be a reminder of a lovely life most beautifully lived.
