Its Five Initiatives define its mission: (1) placement service for those taken from kill shelters or surrendered by the public, via adoption, foster care, or breed specific rescues; (2) spay and neuter financial aid; (3) education programs; (4) a place of refuge for abused horses and farm animals; and (5) permanent care for some animals too old or traumatized for adoption.
