KPJS Transmitter Stone Soup Radio
Donation protected
We at Stone Soup Community Radio are raising funds to purchase the equipment necessary to place a transmitter in Stockton, Ca. on a radio tower. This is essential to providing local, community based broadcasting that other media do not address and providing progressive orientated programming to our diverse community.
The San Joaquin Valley area does not have many public radio stations with locally-originated programming. The many vibrant ethnic, musical, social and political communities that exist in this area need a voice, a place to express themselves.
STONE SOUP, currently a local internet radio station, concentrates on covering local issues concerning this valley region including community public affairs, forums to educate people regarding local issues, and provides exposure for local musicians. We bring diverse communities together for dialog, entertainment and education.
All funds will support this 501C3 non-profit radio station.
