Halverson Family Expenses

Hi, this is Mike and Michelle Kish and we are fundraising for our sister Kathy Halverson to pay final expenses and get on her feet after the loss of her husband Matt Halverson. On July 31, 2022, Matt was spending time on the north fork of the Payette river south of Cascade. He lost his footing while crossing and was swept downstream. His friend tried his best to rescue him but conditions were too dangerous and Matt went downriver. Extensive search and rescue efforts have been unable to locate him since. Matt leaves behind a wife and 3 children ages 16, 13 and 8. Numerous people have asked how they can help this family out and we created this GoFundMe to facilitate getting some financial support to help them.
