Sandy needs some help

Well here I am. I was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer in 2021. I fought it in silence not letting many know that I had a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery soon after. I didn’t need chemotherapy or radiation at that time. Unfortunately this summer my cancer came back. I was told by the doctor that the type of cancer I had has a reoccurrence rate of 2-3% and I fell into that category. I had a lumpectomy to remove the mass and am now undergoing radiation. I am able to work but since I disclosed that information to my job it backfired and I was terminated. (As a result I have filed with the EEOC a complaint against my former employer.) I tell you all that take the time to read this to understand I have a lot of pride and asking for help isn’t something I do. But unfortunately I am not working and although I have secured a job I have fallen behind on my bills since I haven’t worked since 9/29/22 I have exhausted all my savings and really could use some help. Anything helps I have always been self sufficient and would never come on here feeling helpless as I have these past few months. Thank you for reading this and please feel free to share.
