David Maxemiuk was loved by all who knew him. Dave Was so incredibly kind and devoted to helping everyone he met. Didn’t have a bad thing to say about anyone. He had a corky sense of humour and always had a smile. Dave was the kind of man who went above and beyond to help others. He loved his dogs and loved painting this is so unfair. How can someone just come along and think it’s ok to take ones life. On Sunday March 15th 2020, Dave arrived home and he parked his car in his garage. While walking toward his home he was robbed and brutally assaulted and left to die. Dave had to be revived 3 times when the ambulance came. Dave was assessed at Victoria hospital and doctors decided they couldn’t do anything more for Dave. He was flown to Saskatoon via STARS. Daves family couldn’t be by his side because of the COVID19. Everyone that knew and loved Dave prayed so hard and didn’t want to lose hope. Dave truly made the world a better place. Friday March 20th at 12:30pm, Dave could not fight anymore and passed away with his family by his side.
The attacker had no mercy for Dave’s life or the ones who loved him. We won’t share the horrific details that Dave endured as it is so barbaric. We don’t want the ones that loved him to know the reality of how he lost his life. Dave leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Marion, and their son Austin who will be celebrating his 19th birthday next month without his dad. He also left behind a sister Violet who loved and adored him the only sibling she had left. Dave was so incredibly close to his family and loved them so much.
Daves family could use your support in helping cover his funeral costs. As the senseless act of violence that caused Dave his life. please help with supporting legal fees, living expenses they are now left with. It is time to hold the ones responsible and accountable and fight for justice in Daves name.
Dave didn’t deserve any of this, his family and friends want JUSTICE!!! Just think this could be one of your loved ones. His wife Marion who only works parttime because of health reasons is now stressing with how she will provide for herself and her son. Not only do they have to deal mentally of losing her husband and a dad they have to worry financially. Please give what you can it is greatly appreciated!
