Friends and Family,

You know the journey I have had to get my insurance company to approve a total hip replacement. This was a vital surgery for me to get back on my feet doing my normal day to day activities. What most people don’t know is how I have struggled to pay the bills in the last two years because I could not stand, walk, or lift and the jobs that I was eligible for were very limited. I have been an Uber driver for the last 2 years full time while I was taking care of my mother and producing a documentary on her behalf. I have poured into my mother and made her my priority that I did not pour into myself.

Thankfully my insurance approved my surgery but I had less than one week to prepare. Today, I am in 2 weeks in my recovering phase. But I am not at optimum health to go back to work.

If you can spare whatever you have to give, I would greatly appreciate your kindness. And I would pay it forward in a big way as I truly believe in giving back.
