Angela’s Cancer Journey

Update to Angela's Tribe!!

My name is Andrea for those of you that don't know me I am Angela's (Angie) sister. As you all know, my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2022. Since then she has battled this through chemotherapy, radiation, and five surgeries! Three of which were not anticipated. She’s also pushes through some eye issues that consists of regular injections and she will continue to do these lifelong. With continued infusions and medication regulation, and trying to stay positive through it all she still has a long journey ahead.  She will be taking supplemental medication for the next five years of her life to top off the fight for future health. Her reconstruction surgery has deemed to be harder than anticipated given the failed tissue expander. She will have a long recovery from this much more invasive surgery.  As you can all imagine all of these medical bills have put a huge burden on her and her family! Angela has also been put on sabbatical from work at this time so she can heal and focus on her full recovery. Please join us for this benefit to help her in this trying journey!
