Donation protected

“NO MONEY, NO MUMMY” – 14-MONTH OLD AUSSIE BABY LEFT BEHIND UNLESS THEY PAY $13,000. MUMMY HANNAH IS SENT BACK TO MALAYSIA.

I am organizing this Fundraiser for my friend, Luke Mitchell, Australian Dad born in Rockhampton, Queensland and his Family. Read his story below....

“We lost our business and all of our life savings during the 2 years we were stranded Overseas by Covid closed borders”.

Successful Aussie Businessman RETURNS HOME with family, now UNEMPLOYED FATHER relying on CENTRELINK as he attempts to rebuild his life from zero. He CANNOT POSSIBLY PAY TO KEEP Baby “Chinta Angel” AND “HARMONI CHINTA’S” MOTHER here in Australia.

AFTER 2 YEARS OF SLEEPLESS BATTLES TRYING TO GET HIS FAMILY HOME, WITH NO WELFARE, NO CHARITY FOR AN AUSSIE IN MALAYSIA... LUKE IS FORCED TO SELL BOTH FAMILY CARS, ALL LUXURIES, FURNITURE AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS TO SURVIVE AND KEEP A ROOF OVER HIS YOUNG FAMILY’S HEADS AS A FOREIGNER IN ANOTHER COUNTRY.

THE NEW PREMIER OF NSW OPENED UP THE INTERNATIONAL GATES, AND LUKE COULD FINALLY BRING HIS CHILDREN AND HANNAH, THEIR MOTHER, TO THE LUCKY COUNTRY FINALLY ON 16 FEBRUARY 2022.

HAPPINESS AND JOY IS SHORT-LIVED DUE TO FLOODS AND A HOUSING CRISIS THAT LUKE WAS UNAWARE OF SINCE BEING AWAY. THE WHOLE FAMILY CATCHES COVID STAYING IN A FRIEND’S COLD GARAGE WHILE WAITING TO REGISTER FOR CENTRELINK INCOME AND MEDICARE FOR THE KIDS.

FINALLY, A GOOD FRIEND (THANK YOU AGAIN GRAHAM, WHO ORGANIZED THIS GO FUND ME!!) LENDS A CAR SO WE CAN GET TO QUEENSLAND TO LOOK FOR A HOME AND A JOB, WHERE LUKE HAS SCHOOL FRIENDS AND CONTACTS.

WHAT A BIG SHOCK, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO RENT A HOUSE WITH NO LOCAL LONG-TERM JOB & LOCAL REFERENCES, OR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR A BOND IN THIS HOUSING CRISIS THAT LUKE RETURNED TO, WHICH LUKE IS UNAWARE OF.

SO BACKUP PLAN IS TO BUY A $130 TENT TO STAY IN FOR EMERGENCIES, AND TRY SEARCHING FOR FARM AND HOUSE SITTING TEMPORARY RESIDENCE ANYWHERE TO KEEP HIS FAMILY WARM AND SAFE IN THE COLD MONTHS.

IN THE MEANTIME, LUKE HAS TO TRY TO APPLY FOR A PARTNER VISA FOR HANNAH, AND HAS RECEIVED SEVERAL PROFESSIONAL LEGAL ADVISORS STATING HANNAH’S VISA APPLICATION WILL BE $13,000 UPFRONT FOR VISA AND LEGAL FEES.

HOW TO GET A HOUSE WITH NO JOB? HOW TO KEEP MY FAMILY TOGETHER IF MY GOVERNMENT EVICTS THE MOTHER OF MY 2 LITTLE GIRLS?

CURRENTLY RENTING A CARAVAN IN CURRUMBIN VALLEY AND SEARCHING FOR CHEAP APARTMENTS AND JOBS IN CENTRAL AND NORTH QUEENSLAND WHILE FARM AND HOUSE SITTING.

Aussie Father pleads for Compassion and Grace with the Australian Immigration Department with his unexpected Covid Situation returning Home, risking his Family being broken and separated by thousands of miles for 1 or 2 years.

Luke has written letters to MPs and politicians about our family crisis situation.

Luke is fighting to keep the Mother of his 2 Australian young daughters, “Chinta Angel”, 13-month-old baby and “Harmoni Chinta”, 7 years old, Australian citizens here in Australia.

The girls’ Mother “Hannah” is Malaysian, and Luke and Hannah have been inseparable for 9 years together, Hannah will be kicked out when her visa expires soon. And it will cost $13,000 minimum, to start the process to keep Harmoni n Chinta’s Mummy here in Australia.“NO MONEY NO MUMMY"... This happy, close, nurturing family will be broken into pieces after being locked out of Australia and drained financially due to being stranded overseas for 2 years from Australia’s strict COVID LOCK DOWN LAWS.

After the money is paid, they can start the process, which can take up to 2 years to get a decision; Hannah can stay in Australia with the kids during the processing period.

Luke was born in Rockhampton, QLD and has lived in Asia for more than 7 years.

Hannah and Luke met in Malaysia, have been together for 9 years and have 2 Australian citizen children together.

COVID hit, and they couldn’t come home to Australia for 2 years.

Unexpected and struggling to survive overseas with no backup Covid government support payments and help, Luke had to sell off 2 cars, every LUXURY personal property, furnitures and belongings.

Their Family was also evicted twice in Malaysia as they had no work, welfare or charity to help 3 Australians; they were forced to overstay their visa in Malaysia for 18 months as Stuck Australians in Malaysia.

They luckily finally got back into Australia last February 2022.

We were relieved, shocked, excited and grateful to put our feet on Australian Soil. So happy I’m Home Safe with my family in my own Country, Australia, “The Lucky Country”, and start a new life from scratch.

No car, almost homeless, no job, 2 months living in cold friend’s garage and moving thousands of kilometres like car gypsy nomads chasing house-sitting n farm sitting to get a roof over family’s heads for the last 5 months.

And not let 7-year-old Harmoni know we are actually homeless, and pretend to her we are travelling holiday tourists.

Luke as a failing Father in his words feels like he is in the Movie “IN PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS”.. EXCEPT THAT WILL SMITH has 1 kid, I have 3 needing family members including Hannah .

Luke needs to pay AU$8000 upfront plus $5000 immigration lawyer fees to process Visa to keep Mum to stay in Australia with the kids.

Hannah will be sent back to Malaysia when her current Visa ends. If they can’t pay up to process the Partner Visa, the children will lose their Mum for at least 1-2 years possibly.

Mother has to leave Australia every 88 days and separate from breastfed little baby “Chinta Angel”.

Luke had to borrow money to fly Hannah back to Malaysia last May.

Baby "Chinta" was 12 months old and had never been separated from her close, nurturing Mother. Baby had only been Breastfed from Birth and sleeps with her mother every night.

Last May, Baby “Chinta Angel” had to separate with Mum for 9 days, and Luke had to look after both young girls while Mummy disappears overseas.

Luke says from the second day, Baby "Chinta" appeared lost, confused and constantly crying for Hannah, looking for her everywhere. Baby had refused to drink baby formula milk or any other milks. I had to wait for her to get very hungry, to try to fill her up with bananas and thin yogurts, and forced sips of water while she was confused, calling out for her “Mummy”.

And the baby started to suffer from dehydration when she was separated from her Mum. Luckily Hannah was back in Australia after long 9 days. And she was very happy to be back with Mummy’s missed breast milk. Baby "Chinta" started eating and re-hydrating when Mummy is back.

In another 2 days, Luke would have admitted Baby "Chinta" to the hospital for dehydration.

Hannah has to be sent back to Malaysia again this August and separate from the kids again.

Luke feels very desperate that he cannot find a job without having a proper roof home for his family, moving and living in a small overloaded, loaned car. On top of that, worrying about the Mother of his children being kicked out due to Visa Immigration rules.

Luke who feels like a failing father and Husband, was also recently hospitalised because of stomach ulcers and intestinal infection, due to sleepless months and months of living in fear of losing the mother to his little girls.

Hannah, the Mother of my children, have been having nightmares, experiencing fears and traumas of Border Immigration Police taking her away from her children. And does not want to lose her kids as any Mother would.

Our friend Graham suggested that we share our story to the public, pleading for help to keep Baby “Chinta’s” Mum here. To pay the overpriced expensive visa fees of $13,000 is impossible while being on Centrelink welfare payments and looking for a job and a house to live in.

Once Hannah’s visa is processing, Luke can focus on getting a cheap, small apartment and a job when he knows that Mummy will be home safely looking after the kids. And Luke can move forward, improving his family’s situation to build a new life starting over again in this “Lucky Country” of Australia.

THANK YOU SO MUCH IF YOU HAVE READ THIS FAR.... AND IF YOU COULD LEND YOUR SUPPORT FOR THIS FAMILY, FOR THE SAKE OF THESE AUSTRALIAN CHILDREN....
