Donna's Book Dream Come True

I am Donna Bailey. A Southern girl by birth, California woman in spirit, I live in the San Francisco Bay area where the sun shines most every day. I am a lifelong writer and life coach, mother, grandmother and a hopeful and hopeless romantic who believes in the power of love to make us all healthier and happier in this life and I am ready to share my life experience and wisdom with others by writing a book to help others find love. 

I am raising money to write and publish a book (title not yet determined) on Finding Love by Finding Yourself. Written primarily for people over 55 with their unique histories, issues and challenges, it will contain information and narrative that is universally helpful to people of any age. 

The funds will be used to support my time in writing, editing and publishing the book. I have begun the research, have published over 200 inspirational and helpful blogs on my website, www.donnasbigredchair.love

 Over the past three years, I have established a following, most of whom are looking for love and unsure how to find it. My blogs offer the wisdom I have gathered in my own life as well as the research and successful writings of others. Readers constantly share their comments and gratitude for the support and encouragement my storytelling style of writing seems to provide.

Having love and partnership has always been a very important part of my life. I have been single for much of it, though shared many long and short-term relationships with some wonderful men. I believe deeply in love and the necessity to understand ourselves as women and the essential differences between men and women. Those gender differences coupled with our own histories, wounds and joys must be understood if we are to find and sustain loving intimate relationships in healthy ways. This book will provide that kind of information and offer ways for readers to examine what they are looking for in a partner, what stands in the way, and concrete dating strategies that will help them navigate the waters that online and offline dating requires. Staying courageous, safe and determined to do what it takes to find that all important love that human beings need to thrive. 


I am raising 7500.00 so that I can take the time to begin that focused writing process, secure and editor/publisher and get this book to press by August, 2016.
