Haylee's Final Expenses #TeamSambo
Donation protected
In July of 2015 Haylee was diagnosed with Leukemia. At first the doctors told her and her mom that it was just a severe sinus infection. As she began to get worse her mom took her to the hospital. There they told her again that it was just a sinus infection. Her mom demanded that they do tests on her. Sure enough it wasn't just a sinus infection. She was rushed immediately to All Childrens in St. Pete. There they put her into surgery to input a defibrillator and a port. Right after she was given her first chemo treatment. She stayed in the hospital the next month. She lost her long beautiful hair, she became very nauseated all the time, and lost a lot of weight from not being able to eat. Finally she was able to go home. She was home for a couple of weeks then she was due for her second round of chemo. Again she was in the hospital for a month. This chemo affected her even more. She was very tired, she hurt, and she still couldn't eat very much. She was released from the hospital just in time to attend her sophomore homecoming. In a couple of weeks she went back for her third round of chemo. She was really not feeling good. Her body ached. The doctors found she had fluid in her lungs and stomach. She was put on oxygen to help her breath. Never would we have though that that night God would have taken her. She was only fifteen with so much to look forward to in her life. Her family does not have the funds to afford to cremate her or to have a ceremony for her. So please help raise money for this family who shouldn't have to go through this alone. The money will help pay for the cremation and the funeral service. We need as much money as possible by this week! This girl was a brave, beautiful soul with amazing potential. We would appreciate every single donation.
