In Memory of Gary

Dear Friends & Family,
In honor of what would have been Gary’s 60th birthday on August 5th, I have committed to running all 9 races in the Suffolk County Veterans Run Series, beginning with the Cpl Christopher Scherer 4 Mile Run on May 28th, leading up to the Suffolk County Half Marathon, in October and ending with the Run for the Warriors on November 6th. Several family members and friends are planning to join me for some of the events, too!
In Gary’s memory, we are planning to donate $1200 to the following charities:
The Lt. Michael P Murphy Navy Seal Museum

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund
www.nleomf.org
To start things off, Tony and I purchased a memorial brick in Gary’s memory to be part of the paths leading to the Lt Michael P. Murphy museum.
All donations will be divided equally between both charities in November and proof of our donations will be posted to this page.
If you would like to join us in our fundraising efforts, we will send you a commemorative “Gary L. Koch” tshirt for a donation of $30 or more. I will contact you so you can let me know me your size (S,M,L,XL,XXL). We will also be offering ladies racerback tanks. Shirts will be mailed beginning in July!
