Aaron's Fund

This is Augustina's story... "On December 4th, Aaron ran in the CIM; an experienced runner, Aaron was hoping to qualify for the NYC and Boston Marathons. He trained, he trained for a year to improve his time, he studied, he worked, he sacrificed, and he made gains. Moving at 6:20 pace from Folsom, CA to Downtown Sacramento, Aaron made it to mile 26 when he went into Cardiac Arrest. Unbeknownst to him, he had developed Rhabdomyolysis, it impacted his kidneys and jolted his heart into arrest. EMT's, staff and local PD jumped on Aaron and went to work. Aaron was revived; however, due to the lack of oxygen that took place, he suffered a traumatic brain injury called Hypoxic-Ischemic Brain Injury. Our whole world came down the minute he hit the ground." As Aaron begins his journey to recovery, some friends and coworkers - Andrew, Caryn, Amee, Sarah, April and I, wanted to set this fund up to help the Kuen family, as this support, along with your prayers and thoughts, would mean the world to Augustina, and their three young daughters as they embark on their own marathon.
