Update:
We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude as the Smith family has received an overwhelming amount of support during this difficult time. We are no longer accepting donations on this page, however, we have partnered with UNLV Rebel Raisers to dedicate a Memoriam Scholarship in Ryan's name. This scholarship will be awarded to a student-athlete on the UNLV Men's Golf team. If you would like to support this cause, please click here.
It is with great sadness that our beloved Ryan has passed away. Ryan was a dedicated father, loving son, and wonderful friend to us all. He has touched the lives of many far and wide and we would like to honor him in a way he deserves. Ryan leaves behind his two daughters, Charlotte (7) and Ada (5), the loves of his life, along with so many more family and friends.
To know Ryan is to know kindness, generosity, and joy. His smile could light up the darkest rooms and his magnetic personally drew in anyone lucky enough to cross his path. Ryan was a Michigan native for the majority of his beautiful life and settled in Las Vegas one short decade ago. The footprint Ryan has left on our city cannot be replicated or go unnoticed. He was a fundamental part of our economic development and always worked with unmeasurable passion.
We are all utterly devastated by his loss and want to dedicate this page to his daughters. We would like to collect donations on their behalf to help cover Ryan's Celebration of Life expenses and anything remaining to go to his girls in his memory. We feel his life was too magnificent to be left without a community-wide celebration and serve as a final moment to say our goodbyes.
With love.
