Representing LLEGO Boston in 2023 BOSTON MARATHON

My name is Roy Marcos, and I am a proud Cuban American immigrant who came to this country in pursuit of my dreams. Four years ago, I took up running as a distraction, but it quickly became a passion and a lifestyle for me.

In 2020, I completed my first marathon, and that's when I started dreaming of participating in the prestigious Boston Marathon.

Today, that DREAM is coming TRUE, thanks to the support of my friends and LLEGO BOSTON.

I am honored to represent LLEGO BOSTON in the Boston Marathon on April 17, 2023. LLEGO BOSTON was established in April 2017 with the mission of preparing small groups for the pre-police academy and offering the opportunity to become a police officer in Boston. I am proud to raise funds to support this organization. I aim to bring together the knowledge and experience of Latino emergency first responders and promote diversity in law enforcement. LLEGO BOSTON now boasts hundreds of members who represent diverse demographics.
